Cape and Garden Route Golf Tour - Self Drive

Cape Town and the Garden Route boasts many wonderful courses, a mild climate, superb coastal scenery and exciting sightseeing. In the winelands a round of golf is naturally followed by a visit to one of the many wine estates for wine tasting and lunch. The famous whale route boasts the Arabella golf course and the garden route has many exceptional courses to choose from. When not on the course there are beaches, mountains and many adventure activities to keep everyone busy.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - 4 : CAPE TOWN

Spend four days teeing-off on the many world-class golf courses in Cape Town and enjoying the many sightseeing delights this city and surrounds has to offer.

Four overnights at Steenberg on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 5 & 6 : HERMANUS

It’s a short drive along a stunning coastal road to the world’s best land-based whale watching destination in the vicinity of Hermanus. Spend your days enjoying the superb golfing, whale watching (seasonal June - December) and wines from the most southerly vineyards of the Cape.

Two overnights at The Western Cape Hotel & Spa on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 7 - 9 : GARDEN ROUTE

Continue along the scenic coastal route to the Garden Route hotel of your choice. Spend three days on the premier golf courses of George, Knysna and/or Plettenberg Bay.

Three overnights at the Fancourt on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 10 :

Drive to Port Elizabeth or Cape Town Airport to drop off your rental car, in time for your connecting flight.
